Adam Bristoe
Seventeen-year-old Adam is just one of those kids who serves as an inspiration to teachers and other students. A former teacher of Adam’s, Kim Stetzel, said she met him when he was in second grade. For four years the students participated in Pennies for Patients in hopes of helping Adam reach his goal. By the time he graduated from the fifth grade, he presented the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with a check for more than $16,000.
As a leukemia survivor, Adam has a special strength and caring heart, especially for children who are fighting the disease.
Adam earned a black belt in Taekwondo when he was 15. He was named “Outstanding Sophomore Musician,” as well as the “Lindbergh School District Teacher’s Choice Award,” in 2015. He also volunteered at Lindbergh’s Sunday Night Lights celebration, inspiring young children to reach their hopes and dreams.
Adam is the son of proud parents, Tammy and Dwayne Bristoe, of St. Louis.
