Austin Naucke
Despite being diagnosed with bilateral club feet as an infant, nothing is able to slow Austin down! Austin, 9, participates in a variety of sports through the Boys and Girls Club. When he’s not running or playing football, basketball and baseball, Austin keeps himself busy with video games. Whatever he’s doing, Austin brings high energy to the table.
Austin, a resident of St. Charles, MO, receives periodic treatment for the symptoms of his club feet at Shriners Hospital for Children. Austin has received excellent care from Shriners since he was young, and is now a Patient Ambassador there. As an Ambassador, Austin has helped with the KMOV Cares “Heroes 4 Kids” Telethon. There, he helped answer the phones with his dad Jimmy and helped keep the Moolah YOMO cars shiny.
Also due to the great care Austin has received, both of Austin’s parents have joined Shriners organizations. Jimmy is a Moolah Shriner and serves as the 2016 President of the Director’s Staff Unit. Austin’s mom Michelle is a member of Ladies of the Oriental Shrine. Both were spurred to join Shriners after seeing and learning the Shriner mission and seeing how caring their team was towards Austin.
