Jacob Fortney, an 8-year-old from Festus, is known for his creativity and imagination. His parents, Jon Michael and Debbie Fortney, always say how he has a wonderful imagination, and they see it every day when they watch him play. When Jacob was born, he was diagnosed with Dilantin syndrome. This can result in slower growth and developmental delays, but that doesn’t stop Jacob.
Jacob is constantly on the move. He might be small, but he has worked to make it a strength.
Jacob’s family and friends are amazed at how he always tries his hardest and never gives up.
Anyone who meets Jacob is lucky because he is one great kid.
