Roxie Schopp
Holly and Nick Schopp of Creve Coeur have a 7-year-old daughter named Roxie who was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma when she was only 3 years old.
Neuroblastoma is a childhood tumor that appears in the nervous system outside of the brain. Children who have aggressive neuroblastomas are at a high risk for recurring tumors. This condition develops most in infants and children younger than 5 years of age. There is no cure and the prognosis is often poor.
Roxie has excelled despite her cancer diagnosis and is a lovable little girl. She was a 2015 Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Ambassador. Roxie with friends & family also formed kNOw neuroblastoma, a team that has participated in the St. Baldrick’s event 5 consecutive years since her diagnosis, raising funds for grants and research to conquer kid’s cancer! Currently, Roxie has no evidence of the disease proving miracles do happen.
