The 2013 journey has begun with the first full committee meeting last night May 1, 2012. We had a few new faces eager to help. During our first meeting for STL NOS the date for the 2013 event was set. February 23, 2013 at Centene Center in Farmington, MO.
In attendance was Rhonda & Jerry Overberg, Roberta & Larry Day, Rickie Farris, Mike, Natalie & Tyler Woodrum, Butch & Debra Fehr, Dean Eshelman, Sharon Strode, Lynda Steiner, Sharon Hastings and Frank & Laurie Helderle.
While the date was set numerous other items were discussed including door attendees, food service, bar service, limo service, potential supporters, nominee search, red carpet, escorts and how to operate the evening to insure a smooth operation. One big advantage in 2013 is that we will have nine months to get things up and going. Much better than the 55 days we had for the 2012 event.
We are looking for additional volunteers in all areas of the event. Contributors, escorts and sponsors are also in need.
One plan to help the 2013 STL NOS raise more money is the creation of a pay pal account where visitors to this site can make a cash contribution. Soon we will have the sponsor levels listed and additional details.
